American Bank Sr. Business Services Officer - Regional Manager - San Antonio, TX in San Antonio, Texas

Responsible for the implementation of the TMS marketing strategies and sales objectives for San Antonio. Responsible for the sale of commercial deposit products and services and associated treasury management products by working closely with Business Development officers to call on existing bank clients, and by developing commercial deposit/TMS centric relationships through own business development efforts. Must have thorough knowledge of all American Bank products/ services to ensure that all potential/existing client’s needs are identified and met on a pro-active basis by making appropriate recommendations for Treasury Management products/ services. Key player in development of San Antonio market and treasury management solutions going forward.

-· Conduct regular meetings with regional business sales team to make sure that goals and bank objectives are being acted upon.

· Actively call on new and prospective clients by developing a target list of prospects.

· Maintain a strong knowledge of assigned market(s) including new businesses, key players and competitive products and services.

· Prepare account analysis on internal and external prospects to assist in the selection of the products and services most appropriate for their needs.

· Participate in the annual performance review process for assigned staff members. Completing the evaluation process timely and discussing with the employee.

· Perform Treasury Management product demonstrations in person at either bank branch or client’s offices.

· Sell and promote all commercial products and services.

· Accompany business development Officers on prospect and follow up calls with clients regarding Treasury Management products.

· Research and prepare analysis for public fund proposals.

· Serves as a resource for Treasury Management sales staff for questions, problems, best practices, etc.

· Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.


· 1- 5 years or more as a Business Services Officer or Treasury Management Sales Officer

· Must have excellent oral and written communication skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office software; Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point

· Ability to operate Windows PC – based computer software used for Cash Management products and services

· Ability to offer Cash Management products and services solutions to customers over the telephone, in-person, or by e-mail

· Professional image

Dependable transportation for customer’s calls

· High school graduate or equivalent
