Business Systems Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Provide business process and portfolio management (PfM) support across a portfolio of existing IT systems and track Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across all IT systems and workstreams. Coordinate and collaborate with personnel in other task areas to ensure business process IT activities and efforts meet deadlines. Oversee system software and systems development life cycles, including systems documentation, design development, configuration management, cost analysis, database administration, system integration, and testing. Populate and update IT Portfolio Management Repository (ITIPS) portfolio management records and assist with meeting Assessment and Authorization (A&A), Continuous Monitoring (CM), Risk Framework (RM), and Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) requirements. Track the compliance of IT systems with the Clinger-Cohen Act (CCA), work with critical internal and external stakeholders to shape and recommend CE IT strategies and business process improvement, and analyze key stakeholder needs to develop recommendations that incorporate mission drivers, emerging technologies, policy, and cost and timeline considerations. Recommend near and long-term priorities and strategies to fulfill business process needs with existing or modified IT systems. Apply full technical knowledge of most phases of systems analysis and consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment, develop implementation and testing plans, demonstrate knowledge of the systems development life cycle (SDLC), build excellent customer and team relationships, and thrive in a client site setting.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with providing PfM and business process analysis support

-Experience with enterprise IT computing environments, including technologies, processes, and security

-Experience with overseeing requirements tracking and collaborating with team, clients, and service providers to identify requirements and changes that will fulfill the client's need and with identifying new opportunities to implement client-required changes

-Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

-Experience with planning, organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating activities to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively

-Knowledge of current technology trends potentially for the application of current and emerging technology solutions to meet customer requirements

-Secret clearance required

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with developing, maintaining, and managing the requirements baseline for future systems and technical refreshes of existing systems

-Experience with describing the necessary functionality, prioritizing the needs, and developing actionable, measurable, and testable requirements

-Experience with coordinating changes efficiently with a wide variety of stakeholders, including business personnel, technical personnel, and senior leadership

-Experience with DoD or Air Force IT systems, including AR, IIT, e-Plan, ERPIMS, or RDM&S

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills to successfully interact with clients, engineers, and managers

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
